    Top/Bottom 5 movies you watched in 2012

Assuming you watched 10 new movies that came out in 2012..what are your top 5 and bottom 5 movies of 2012?

    Top:
    1. Prometheus (visually beautiful and a very well written indirect prequel to the Alien franchise)
    2. American Reunion (besides the first installment, this was the best movie of the series, tons of laughs)
    3. Django Unchained (Quentin Tarantino does it again, a little long for my taste but a few laughs, alot of gore..Christopher Waltz stole the movie for me)
    4. The Campaign (cant go wrong with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifinakis..seems like Galifinakis plays the same type of character in every one of his movies..its starting to get annoying)
    5. Taken 2 (Liam Neeson, enough said)

    Bottom:
    1. Ted (it was bad enough i hated Family Guy and Seth McFarlane, why i went to see this was a question i still ask myself..jokes were predictable but i give props to Marky Mark, was the best actor in this one)
    2. Pirahna 3DD (why they made a sequel is beyond me, horrible acting, horrible writing, horrible storyline, an adult-themed waterpark? really? plus the David Hasselhoff scenes were absolutely unnecessary, not funny nor made sense)
    3. Paranormal Activity 4 (way to eff up the storyline. predictable events/killings and didnt play off the 3rd movie like i expected)
    4. Silent House (trailers had me pumped up but was a total let-down)
    5. Chernobyl Diaries (see above)

    1. Moonrise Kingdom
    2. Django Unchained
    3. Argo
    4. The Dark Knight Rises(just based off of enjoyment)
    5. Looper

Still haven't seen a ton of good ones yet either

I didn't see any of the legitimately bad 2012 movies, I guess the worst was John Carter but I still enjoyed that

outside of django and american reunion (which wasn't really that good, but had a lot of nostalgia for someone like me who grew up in HS with the american pie films), his list is basically the 5 WORST films of 2012...

    1. Django Unchained
    2. Sinister
    3. Cabin In The Woods
    4. Seven Psychopaths
    5. The Expendables 2

Struggled to think of bad. No horrible movies (aside from 1) but more so disappointing:

    1. Paranormal Activity 4
    2. The Dark Knight rises
    3. Taken 2
    4. The Possession
    5. Osombie (It's supposed to be a crappy movie but it's boring and bad. That is the biggest insult)

    In no particular order:

    Top
    -The Raid: Redemption
    -The Cabin In the Woods
    -The Dark Knight Rises
    -Skyfall
    -Moonrise Kingdom

Also enjoyed Hunger Games, Wreck-It Ralph, Prometheus, Ted, Bourne Legacy. The other big superhero movies were okay...nothing too special.

    Bottom
    -Men In Black 3
    -Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
    -A Thousand Words
    -American Reunion
    -Battleship

I'm not much of an action movie guy, but The Raid: Redemption definitely was bad ***.

Prometheus looked good but that's about it. Here's a good article.
