Man, reading Firm's posts for the last month about Nassib has me kind of believing he might be a decent quarterback lol.

So on that note, what if we were able to trade down and acquire a second round pick? Then we take the best player available with the 1st round pick, and draft Nassib in the 2nd round.

Would you guys be fine with that?

The problem with that is the Syracuse Head Coach was hired in Buffalo, he took 7 other Syracuse coaches with him. There`s a great chance he`s gonna want his qb, Nassib is fast paced and has already been running a pro style offense for 3 years, he won`t be around in the 2nd.

Nassib is the best player to pick, right away.

You don't have a franchise QB and you believe there is one available when you're on the clock; you're supposed to draft him. That's the golden rule of the NFL draft, or so I've always heard. I don't think that much of any QB in this draft. But for what it's worth (not much but not worthless, I've been right on players before), these are my favorite QBs in order:
1- Tyler Wilson - He's talented and he's tough. Rough around the edges and will need time to develop, but right now I think he has the best chance to be a pro bowler.
2- Mike Glennon - He has all the tools, struggled at times but he's a good QB. I think he's Blaine Gabbert with a better feel for the game.
3- Matt Barkley - Polished, poised, west coast style QB. He can succeed with good talent around him.
4- Geno Smith - As accurate as any QB I've ever seen in CFB outside of Sam Bradford.
5- Ryan Nassib - I haven't seen enough of him or from him. I question his delivery for accuracy downfield in the much faster NFL. Good skill set though.
6- Landry Jones - Average is spelled 'Jones'. Not a bad 3rd/4th round developmental guy.

I haven't seen a lick of Dysert.

Personally i think the bridgewater kid is the better prospect in that conference anyway...id pass on nassib

Who likes the idea of trading the 3rd pick to acquire more picks?? Possibly to Baltimore, they need a middle linebacker with Ray Lewis retiring and with Teo being a top ten pick I could see them being interested.

Y trade our 1 rounder to the Ravens when we could just trade McClain to them for like a 3rd or 4th rounder.

keep on dreaming...if we were going to and I say IF we were going to pick a qb in rd 1 we would be better off picking matt barkley. at least he played in a major conference for a major college. In a pro style offense.

I have seen a couple of those. He is an interesting prospect, if we were way lower. The handful of exceptional guys at the top outshine him IMO. LSU does produce good Defensive players.

There`s a reason the Raiders head east and don`t do very well, it has nothing to do with a plane ride. Actually the Raiders don`t do well in any time zone these days. If everything Oakland has done is incorrect then the opposite must be correct.

Grab Nassib and stop all this non-sense.
