    Mark Teixeira Announces Participation in WBC

    Maybe that would help with his slow start every year. Get it out of the way early. Thoughts??

    It's hardly slow starts anymore, he's just become a yankees stadium pull hitter who won't lay down a bunt with a shift.

    Yogi Berra is quoted saying, something along these lines..

    "If a team is going to give me a free hit, I'm going to bunt and take it.

    Well mark should do the same thing.

    to bad all the pitchers are in their Mid to late 30's i wonder if Johsnon or Madux or Clemens would be interested in pitching, you know to make the other guys feel young.
