Hickson really doesnt have any trade value, he decides where and if he gets traded. Would be stupid to go to a place he cant get re-signed for big money so that eliminates any team over the cap, also probably wouldnt go anywhere he cant get playing time. So what that leaves the bobcats, if the blazers trade him to them who could they even get... not much, maybe a backup. With that said if they do trade Hickson its not to make the team better to make the playoffs, its to tank.
I agree... Why would we trade him. He is top 10 in rebounds in the league and he is bringing HUGE energy on this team. Leonard isnt close to being ready to be a starting center in this league right now. Unless we got another STARTING center it doesnt make sense. We will have plenty of cap space this offseason to either resign him or pick up someone that we could have gotten back in trade.
Biggest needs we have right now:
1. Backup wing scorer.
2. Backup PF/Center who can defend and rebound
3. Backup PG who can set up the offense
