I just don't understand how he can be too expensive. Who would we replace him with? Which other centers draw that much spacing and that efficient of post scoring.

The last point of my post says I'd basically pay him anything short of the max. I just don't think the Wolves will.

Totally agree! We have a top 10 center, who wants to play here actually, who is gonna get big money somewhere. We offered Batum 13 mil, so I'd pay Pek that. Pek>Batum.

I guess I wasn't clear in my question being indirect. I've read the little snippets that either say some in the organization don't think he's worth what he'll get or that they are shopping him and I just don't understand it. The one thing that has been working for our team is post offense and points in the paint which is largely a matter of Pek's bulk drawing attention and putting in buckets.

Ridnour is declining so fast, it's ridiculous. He's shooting 31% for 3 this year, and a lot of his shots were more or less open. Also, he's 81%Ft compared to Pek's 77%. And he's terrible on the defensive end.

I do like him as a guy and a loyal player, he's been our starter for two and a half seasons already, but he's painful to watch at this point of his career..

If this was the luckiest season in franchise history, as opposed to perhaps the unluckiest, we'd be heading back out on to the floor for the second half with a line up of Rubio-Roy-AK-Love-Pek. Budinger, D-Will, etc. off the bench.

What a wonderful, wonderful dream.

Instead, really looking forward to seeing some Lazar Hayward, Lou Amundson and Greg Steimsma tear ******* up.

Ok, even at 81% he is clearly better than Pek, and his career FT% is 86%, so I don't see the argument. It doesn't matter if he is terrible on the defensive end, he is the best FT shooter on the team and if he is on the floor, he should be shooting FTs.
