Actors best role - Philip Seymour Hoffman

I decided it be fun to string these along. We've done Hanks and De Niro thus far.
Remember that you're voting/arguing for the actors best role. Not the best overall movie.
Moving on someone recommended PSH so here we go.

    Previous Threads:
Tom Hanks: Forrest Gump - Forrest Gump
Robert De Niro: Raging Bull - Jake La Motta

it's truman capote, and i don't really think it's close

that said, PSH has played NUMEROUS roles to near-perfection

I don't know his work near as well as the other two guys. That being said I think for the most part he has excelled as a secondary character. He's not a guy like De Niro or Hanks who you expect nothing short of a lead role from.

I haven't seen Capote. So without that I'd probably lean towards Father Brendan Flynn

    The End is Coming.

Not saying it's his best but he was pretty dope in Mission Impossible 3.
