Your 25 Man Roster as of Now

So as of right now, what does your 25 man roster look like. Add a few others who will be of some help this season. Here is mine

    CF- Alejandro De Aza
    3B- Jeff Keppinger
    DH- Adam Dunn
    1B- Paul Konerko
    RF- Alex Rios
    LF- Dayan Viciedo
    SS- Alexei Ramirez
    C- Tyler Flowers
    2B- Gordon Beckham

Bench: C- Hector Giminez, INF- Angel Sanchez, OF Dewayne Wise, OF Jordan Danks

    Rotation:
    Chris Sale LH
    Jake Peavy RH
    John Danks LH
    Gavin Floyd RH
    Jose Quintana LH

    Bullpen:
    Closer- Addison Reed RH
    Set Up- Matt Thornton LH
    Set Up- Jesse Crain RH
    Middle Relief- Nate Jones RH
    Middle Relief- Donald Veal LH
    Middle Relief- Brian Omogrosso RH
    Long Relief- Charlie Leesman LH

Some other to help in '13
    Hector Santiago- LHP
    Simon Castro- RHP
    Dylan Axelrod- RHP
    Nestor Molina- RHP
    Josh Phegley- C
    Brent Morel- 3B
    Jared Mitchell- OF
    Blake Tekotte- OF

I am really bored with no White Sox news. Bears talk is starting to get boring until the Senior Bowl practices start.

You must really like Morel, you have him on your list twice.

Honestly I like Rios hitting 3rd with Dunn, 5th or 6th.

I forgot about the greatness of Donnie Veal.

This year, he should start the year as the third reliever. I think he can really show something as a reliever. He can throw consistently in the mid 90's and has hit 98 on multiple occasions.

Yes JD, hopefully Veal has finally found a home in the Sox bullpen. All the Sox really need him to be is a lefty specialist. Leesman has been pretty good against righties being a starter his entire career.

i agree with with sager, except i think Santiago will be the fifth starter if he shows better control in Spring.

Santiago needs to compete with Quintana for the 5th starter spot IMO.

We need to add a LH bat to this team. We have got more weak for 2012. Not happy with the FO and Hahn right now.
    No ideas for the moment.

I do think think that Santiago, Quintana and Axelrod will all compete for the 5th starters spot.

I expect a left handed bat to be added to the mix in one way or another.

But overall, I don't think this team got weaker really. They lost AJ, Youk, Liriano and Myers and replaced them with Flowers, Keppinger, Danks and Nate Jones. I can see where it looks like they got worse, but Youk is declining, can't expect AJ to put up those numbers like last year. Hopefully Danks comes back strong and really adds to this rotation and Nate Jones should be able to take Myers spot in the pen with someone taking his spot.

I fully expect the White Sox to add a LH bat and a veteran reliever. How significant those players are remains to be seen. At this point, I'm not holding my breath for an impact player. It could be something like Ryan Sweeney and Jon Rauch (ha, I just picked them as random examples, not because they are former White Sox players) or something significant like Michael Bourn and Jose Valverde, but I would guess something closer to the former.

So...we're only one Eddie Mathews short of being really competitive...

I think our bench and overall lineup offensively could use a lift. Realistically either Santiago or Quintana will be in the Pen and I think the pitching will be better with another year behind them, now we won't have a bunch of rookies on the staff.

Offensively though, we all but sucked last year minus hitting the long ball, and to me, I don't see what we have done to make that better. I think we need a vet catcher and another LH bat in the lineup and I'm not too sure why Gordon Beckham is still starting.

To me this is a .500 team at best and 3-4 best in our own division. I hope I'm wrong.

Quintana shouldn't be in the bullpen, he is not a reliever, he should be in the minors starting for depth if he isn't on the big league team. Santiago will probably do the same. They have stretched him out and they want him to stay a starter. I expect Leesman to be the third lefty in the pen and he can do the long relief spot as well.
