Why not wait until the scouting reports and medical records are in? We don't know if he is really healthy or not. I don't want ANY wasted money, because as we all know, the funds are limited.
    F that!

Dude, there is simply no room for reasonable, reserved thought in this forum.

    No room at all whatsoever!

Ok, back to the knee-jerk reactions!

Wilson isn't going to be THAAT expensive because of the injury. I think he would be an immediate upgrade over almost everyone in our BP even if he is 85% of what he used to be. If he comes back at 100%, he would be a huge steal. He'd kill it in Citi. I'd say take the chance.

He also brings revenue to the team as he is just so popular and recognizable. The merchandizing alone could probably pay his contract. I say this is a move you HAVE to make. He can contribute for a few years still

"1984" Movie remake about 20 years ago.

Nude scenes with Julia, the female lead (can't remember who played her)

She had the thickest, blackest bush I had ever seen until I saw Brian Wilson's beard.

    He looks creepy.

This would be a great signing. The FO needs to bring at least one guy in who will attract the casual fans. Brian Wilson and his type-A personality would do that. And if he's healthy, he will really help the bullpen.

The addition of Brian Wilson would bolster this bullpen a lot if he returns to old form.

    A 7th 8th 9th of Parnell-Francisco-Wilson .. with Edgin/Carson as lefty possibilities could potentially be great

This is the kind of move I wanted Sandy to look into. I woulda loved if he looked in Ryan Madson too. Joe Nathan bounced back fine, I can't see why Wilson can't do the same.

This sounds like a great idea.

This makes me doubt the chances it can actually happen.
