I put this up because the proper one isn't up yet. I didn't do a proper one because I couldn't be bothered, so feel free to merge or close this when the real one goes up.

But anyway the Lakers better wake the hell up tonight because it's the first game I've been able to watch for quite a while now.

Just go pick and roll with Nash and Dwight/Pau and let Kobe take advantage of the space it creates. It shouldn't be that hard. Also if we could muster a thimble-full of defense it would be a step forward from what I've heard.

If all that fails then we'll just have to sit and curse our luck that there is no hall of fame coach with roots in the LA area that was willing to coach the team.

    EDIT: Thanks Avenged

If we lose to Cleveland, who has been sucking beyond the galaxy at this point, it'll sink me personally as a fan, and many others, so much more than we've already depressed. Even without 3 players, we should beat them.

First real must-win of the season!

I'm going to be watching the defensive end. Better come out with energy & focus, offense will take care of itself. Have to hold Cleveland under 100.

Good news: Clippers just lost to the Magic. Bad news: Lakers are now the only team that hasn't won in 2013.

At this point in the season I don't blame you for pulling out the reverse jinx.

It's not a must-win mathematically but it's clearly a must-win psychologically -- both for the team and us as fans. If our wily veterans can't beat their motley crew we're sunk.

We need 20/10 from Nash. He has to know that.

We need 25/7/5 from Kobe, but a steady game and effort on defense.

15/15 from Clark, proving to the world that he's not a fluke or streaky player.

Everybody else just needs to play defense, not turn the ball over, and score when they're open. For the first time this year.

Got my game-day lucky Lakers sweatshirt on already, fingers crossed, and praying like hell that the team has some guts underneath all those millions.
