    Caldwell won't hire Roman

Too risky for his career. If things don't go smoothly early on in Jax, people are going to blame it on the new G.M. bringing in his old buddy. If he does the opposite of what people expect, hire someone other than Roman, Caldwell is in a much better position and will be more respected. First of all, he isn't so closely associated with the coach, who becomes expendable in tough times, secondly, he doesn't have to jeopardize a friendship or face accusations of going easy on his former roommate. I'm betting the Jags don't offer Roman anything more than O.C. position with a promise of first chance at any future vacancy at H.C. But I could be wrong.

I think we should hire lovie smith, bring in a guy like Ken weisenhunt to run the offense, but I bet we'll end up hiring a young offensive guy like josh McDaniels who I wouldn't mind I thought he did a great job in Denver but he pissed too many people off.

i have a feeling he wont be signed but if he continues to to impress then he's the best guy available and if he's interested then caldwell will have no choice and they'll both have to understand that its job first an they've got an organisation to turn around

Rumor is that Jags might not wait to inteview Roman. If they like one of the guys they talk to beforehand.
