A little bit of good news?

    Dave McMenamin ‏@mcten
Pa Gasol was re-evaluated Saturday. He's still not cleared to play. He'll be re-evaluated Sunday, as will Dwight. Both game-time decisions

No way Dwight plays. I could see Pau playing though.

There's been a lot of trash talk about how Pau should "suck it up" and play -- leading, I guess, to him eventually blowing his brains out like Junior Seau, but well after he retires so who gives a ****, right?

The season is already a disaster. Rushing players back before they're healed gets us nowhere in the short term and risks the long term.

I don't like facing Cleveland without any of our bigs, but if our remaining players and the coaching staff can't game a win with Kobe and Nash against a nine-and-twenty-something team, we're as bad as everybody says we are.

Gail, you and I both know that the chances of getting a concussion in the NBA are a lot smaller than in the NFL.

From everything these doctors are starting to figure out, they are realizing that CTE and certain other neurodegenerative diseases are due to REPETITIVE hits to the head... It will have been a week on sunday, Pau will most likely be able to play without any risk.

I'm not one of the people calling Pau out or telling him to suck it up, but unless he is still suffering from severe headaches he will most likely be cleared for the Cavs game.

Would prefer To have Gasol back first. That way we can play him in the post more and see if that changes anything. if he actually plays better, then we can call pringles and ask him to move pau to the bench to have him play with the 2nd unit at the 5

how demoralizing that would be...playing better than ever (this year) and then being told that you're being sent straight to the bench

How bout instead of "benching" him, Freezing dwight for some games so pau gets trade value back?

Or tell howard to suck it up and play the Horace Grant/ Dennis rodman crap until seasons end.

that said, i think given paus trade stock blows right now it would be in the interest of the lakers to hold on him until Offseason or even better Deadline of 2014.

With that big F.A in that year there is a GOOD chance that some team aiming at pulling a heat would give whatever is necesary to get paus 23m(tradekicker) EXPIRING contract.

As an example, the Bulls who can AMNESTy boozer, could very well trade Deng and noah to make room for two max contracts in said 2014 F.A
