The Yankees wouldn't sign AJ Pierzynski for 1 year 7.5 million because they questioned his defense.

They sure as heck won't be signing Napoli if that's the case.

Even on a one year deal they want a guy who will play good defense behind catcher.

Get used to seeing Cervelli, Stewart, and Romine and possibly some minor guys like Kelly Shoppach or Jesus Flores brought in for competition.

You may be right but I also believe that his, shall we say, unique personal demeanor, is quite off-putting to many, many franchises.
