I'll take Jones and run in the draft. Kid will be a Pro Bowl machine at either G or C. We could use some pop up the middle.

What about the center from Cal? Heard them say on NFLn that he's a plug and play guy from the jump and he's dominated some really good players in the Sr. Practices

SMU DT Margus Hunt - has met with the Buccaneers, Packers, Dolphins, Bears, Saints, 49ers, Jaguars and Texans so far. Very intriguing prospect for a number of teams.

Hunt is a really interesting prospect, that I wouldn't hate seeing us drafting, even if DE isn't the biggest need. He could stay at DE in a 4-3 and if needed add weight to play DE in a 3-4.

I'm predicting after the combine, he shoots up draft boards when teams see how athletic he is.

A team source tells the Miami Herald the Dolphins made a "low-ball attempt" to lock-up impending free agent LT Jake Long during the season.
The Dolphins have sent mixed signals on their feelings toward the former No. 1 overall pick, but it's clear they're not going to sign him to a deal his pre-injury reputation would have commanded. That could be a problem, as a different team source tells the Herald Long "likes the idea of being the best at what he does and one way he proves to everyone that he is is by being the highest paid at what he does." According to the source, there's a "considerable amount of professional ego there." With neither side appearing willing to negotiate on the other's terms, it's looking more likely that Long will walk.

Vollmer or Loadholt would be my choice. I would assume draft a Guard and sign one of those two and resign Scott personally.
