Magic Johnson: It's OVER!

There's no question that Magic would be FAR more beloved by the fans in LA, would literally be able to walk on water as far as Laker fans are concerned, if he had spent the past ten years just working on his charities, his causes and running his businesses, instead of blabbing like a fool on ESPN and TNT trying to impress "the guys" and paint himself as the big basketball expert.

If Magic had just kept his mouth shut, instead of letting his natural competitiveness and aggression lead him into saying tons of jacked up stuff about the Lakers, and then coming off as phony when he has to "take it ALLLLLLL back!!" and dance at the Laker's championship parade, and then the next year the first chance he gets to say the same thing again, and now even to just totally dismiss and trash the team in January on national TV... if he had just kept his mouth shut instead of doing that the past ten years, he'd be the biggest legend in Los Angeles, his name would be worth infinitely more.

Now, even the people taking his side realize he's just not very likable or trustable anymore if you're a Laker fan.

Relax. He's speaking the truth as he sees it. Half of the Lakers fans say the same thing since we have no faith in D'Antoni to right this ship. The key is defense and the only type of defense that D'Antoni plays is called the Swiss Cheese Defense.

When Phil was the coach, he would immediately yank players out if they didn't play defense. The message is very clear to the players; if you don't play defense, you're not playing. In D'Antoni's system, players are not focusing on defense and it shows in the stats. The Lakers are ranked at the bottom of the list in defense this year. You don't even see urgency in the players when we are on a 3 game losing streak.

Like Magic says, if we don't improve our defense and start to win close games, we are not even going to make the playoffs. You may not like the message, but its the truth. If you don't like hearing the truth and pretend everything is going great, thank you for being a member of the Democratic Party.

These are probably the same idiot loudmouth fans at the Dodger and Angel games. Fine, they all deserve each other.

Stop being such a cry baby. You just need your diaper changed.

We like to face the truth in life instead of closing our eyes and hoping for change in order to move forward. I prefer that we don't make it to the playoffs this year. That way, D'Antoni gets fired for being incompetent. Just ask any New York Knicks fan about D'Antoni and see how much they like him. He is way overrated and has not won any NBA championships. There is very little chance that we will win this year even if we did make past the 8th seed in the west.

Lakers aren't done. If you want to jump off the bandwagon with Magic and Phil Jackson, if you want to give up on this current team, if you've given up on Nash, Kobe, Dwight, Artest, Pau, Jamison, everybody, fine, see you later.

Go jump around and cheer for Miami Heat and the Knicks. I heard the next broadcast will be a lot of intense *** kissing commentary about Lebron and Carmelo.

See ya. Lakers are "done," right? This is why NY fans look down on Laker fans--they've held out hope for the Knicks for 20 years win or lose, but in LA if the Lakers lose 20 games whoop, that's it. Everybody abandon ship. Even the "greatest Laker legend" is out there on ESPN calling the Lakers "done" and yucking it up on national TV.
