We should fire Dantoni and hire Magic Johnson as the coach. Let Magic do like 200 interviews and give all his "views".

Then, after 10 games and Magic quits, saying he "was never cut out to be a coach," then we hire RAMbis as the head coach, and let him coach till the end of the season, as the team completes a 22-60 season or whatever on an 8 game losing streak.

Then blah blah blah let RAMbis give 200 interviews and press conferences, and then fire his ****ing ***.

Then sign and trade Dwight for whatever, couple of draft picks or maybe a Kyrie or Lilliard if we're fortunate.

You are right.

Sure, the Lakers are having a ridiculously bad season. And it's so bad that I'm not even that aggravated by Magic trashing or criticizing or picking against the Lakers anymore, as I usually would be.

But yeah, now it's like it's not even being hidden anymore, it's just out in the open. Magic is plainly relishing the fact that the Lakers are going down to defeat this year and having a terrible season. He is clearly very pleased with himself, that he can be Mr I-Told-You-So and blah blah, and let's be honest, he clearly doesn't give a **** about the Lakers as they now exist.

He cares about the Lakers as a past abstraction, the "showtime of the 80s" teams or whatever, and about Los Angeles, and about maybe the name "Lakers" or the tradition around the team. But let's face it he doesn't care about this Lakers team, any of the players, the front office and really any of the ownership either. He is more than happy to see this team falter so badly, and to see Kobe appearing very mortal and not surpassing his 5 championships.

It's very petty and transparent, and there is something ugly about it, Magic laughing and yucking it up with the boys in the studio, piling on and trashing the team and saying I told you so.

NOT trying to help them out or contribute, or giving them any tips, or standing behind the team AT ALL. But still saying "my Lakers" as if to say "if only they had listened to me." which is a joke.

Nope. Right when the team is at its lowest point, right when the team is at its darkest hour, Magic is, literally, LITERALLY, on national TV just saying "**** those guys. They're done."

You know, if by some miracle the Lakers do win a title, either this year or next year, the Lakers shouldn't even invite Magic to the parade. What I would really REALLY like to see, is if after a game Jerry Buss was walking across the court, and smiley Magic tried to stop and interview him, stuck a microphone in front of him, and Jerry Buss just kept walking right past him without even looking at him.

Not even about Phil, this team is not properly built. We're too old, we have some of the worst help defenders in the NBA, our coach sucks... check that, our coaches suck, the bench is probably one of the worst in the NBA, we have inconsistent shooters, selfish players who are divas, and we lack chemistry.

This entire team sucks, we're extremely lucky that we get to rebuild soon.

How are we gonna rebuild soon? Jim seems like he is ready to let this team and coach contend for the next 3 years. There is now way we rebuild anytime soon...
