    He gets dogged far to often he's been in numerous good flicks and people go out of their way to rip on him.

    Personally: Family Man, Lord of War, Season of the Witch, The Rock, Kick *** were all roles he did well in.

    Aside from his previously mentioned good flicks

    he absolutely killed it in leaving las vegas, adaptation, raising arizona and lord of war

    he was enjoyable in port of call, kick-***, the rock and face/off

    he was downright terrawful in the wicker man, ghost rider and the national treasure films

    keanu is WAY worse...

    I loved Leaving Las Vegas. I think it's one of the better acting performances you can find. Adaptation wasn't a GREAT performance, but I loved the movie and he wasn't awful.

    Port of Call and Wild at Heart were ****ing awesome, though.

    Nic Cage is talented, but he only has one or two characters. The reason he has fallen so far from the spotlight is because he got into massive debt and had to start accepting roles based on money rather than artistic integrity.
