I've been saying this for a while. That's why we have no depth. We overpaid a lot of our starters. Especially Holmes and Harris. Add that to the fact we haven't really drafted that well and see the result.

Sounds like a scorned diva hell-bent on embarrassing the organization that employed him for as long as he wanted. Even through the surgery and recovery.

For an elderly man to resort to gossipy half-baked opinions that he has to bash the team....his reputation is forever tarnished in my mind. Very classless, selfish moments. And he had to go on several stations to air this out. Disgusting POS. I'm shocked.

Agreed! Although I wouldnt say for ever tarnished, but a really uncharacteristic way to go out. He must really be trying to get attention to start his career in the media.

I don't know dude. He didn't say anything that we didn't already know. It seemed like he was being honest for the first time in years.

His comments about Tebow were spot on and certainly not a revelation.

"the one thing Westhoff didnt talk about on his rant was how awful his ST until was this year with blocked kicks, td's, blocked punts, penalties, turnovers etc."

He has said all season that the ST play was disappointing. How much more is there to say?

Personally, I've felt like the ST issues were a combination of a lack of talent (which Westhoff addressed), and a coach with one foot out the door just phoning it in.

Did you really think Westhoff would admit that he wasn't fully engaged this past year, especially when no one was pressing him on the issue?
