That's like saying Jon Baldwin has had a better career than Blackmon.

You guys cant actually think Henne will lead us anywhere positive. Gabbert will either improve or we'll be in position to get a stud in next years draft. I like either of those outcomes more than 5-11/6-10

with a good draft an some good FA signings Henne could win us atleast 8 games.

with henne our passing offense was actually respectable and with gabbert its as big as a joke as Tebow playing qb.

anyways MJD loved that the gm said no tebow

Dalton is 26, I think. Not really a "young" quarterback. Gabbert had better passer rating and completion rate than Luck this year. Not really his fault that he only got to play half the season. Better rates than Tannehill, Locker, Weeden, and a few others. Barely behind Stafford, Bradford, Newton. Matter of fact he finished with higher completion rate than Newton and was ahead of him in passer rating when he got hurt. Newton just piled up some stats after the Panthers were out of the race. Like Henne did in Jacksonville. Griffin and Wilson had flashy numbers but they hardly threw the ball at all. They had top running backs and teams were playing them to run as well.

Anyway, I don't care what you guys think anymore. I believe the owner is solidly behind Gabbert, and the new general manager as well. Blaine will win any training camp "battles" handily unless they get a coach who already has his mind set on someone else. Even then, I can't see anyone in the league who might be available who is going to beat him out in a fair competition.

    It sounded like this

I'm going to bring in my guy and Gabbert and Henne will have a chance to unseat him.

And that's the truth. Sure, he didn't totally put Gabbert down and say he wasn't the answer here, but again, Caldwell is revamping this team and just got here, Gabbert wasn't a pick of his. He won't keep him if he isn't the answer.

Guys I really dont know what the boners for Henne are about. He really wasnt better than Gabbert this year haha I'm looking at both QB's stats this year and I dont see how at all Henne was better. You wanna talk about wins? Henne is 15-29 in his career...He is who he is, a bad QB whos capable of a big game very once in awhile. Blaine can still improve and like I said in the other thread, I find it extremely hard to put a ton of fault on him for last year considering the "talent" we had at the WR position
