2011 Year in Review
2012 Year in Review
Here are the 2012 stats:
Thread Post Count Total
Compared to 2011
Under 100: 0
Here's a quick timeline of the PSD Wrestling Forum
2004-2006: Absolute Ghost Town
2007-2009: Up and down time. Activity high on some weeks, very low on others. WM and Rumble are the only events that are largely discussed in GT form. Among our founding fathers are Dmac, Trag, and Driven
First Half of 2010: Activity in RAW Threads slowly start to pick up. There is still no consistent weekly show thread. Moose who usually only posted in gimmick threads and WM/RR threads becomes more active in forum and is added as mod.
Second Half of 2010: A boom starts to occur. RAW threads are getting consistent posting of 50 to 100 posts.
Jan-March 2011: The spike continues to grow larger, from this point on we have not seen a RAW thread under 100 posts. Mark Out Henry's emerge.
April-August 2011: Forum completely blows up. WM sees a massive spike in activity only to be surpassed by Punk's scripted shoot, which sent the forum into a frenzy. 1,000 post RAW's are regular and we see the forums slow whenever RAW is on.
September-December 2011: Forum continues to grow through Mark Henry's Title run, the return of the Wrestling Redraft, and the creation of PWW in Dec. 2011. Somewhere around this time, more Wrestling Mods are added.
Jan-April 2012: The forum activity reaches a head through the first portion of 2012. PWW and the build to WM 28 causes the forum to reach hectic levels. The WM 28 thread gets nearly 8,000 posts.
May 2012 to Present: Activity starts to decrease before leveling out in November.
Finally... the evolution of the Wrestling Fourm's Post Count:
0 Posts in April of 2004
100,000 Posts in February 2011
200,000 Posts in December 2011
300,000 Posts in March 2012
400,000 Posts in July 2012
500,000 Posts in December 2012
So we are more active than 2011, but less active than the nuclear reaction between Dec 2011 and WM 28.
T'was a good year fellas!
