Any of you guys work in the downtown Oakland area? I just landed a full time job there and I'm looking for some recommendations for places I need to eat at. Honestly I never really went to Oakland much before unless it was for a Warriors game.

Ya I'm about to be. I'm considering driving to Richmond then taking Bart into Oakland from there.

How far is San Rafael to Richmond? And I hear BART stations are pretty ghetto..so be careful. N if i were you id get my hands on a senior clipper card. Ride bart for 60% off n there arent fare inspectors. But thats just me tho lol

I used to ride BART everyday starting in 6th grade to about 10th grade until i got a car so I know the east bay.

I wouldn't recommend the commute though, I'd move to Berkeley, Albany, Oakland, or alameda like someone said, unless the jobs worth that kind of commute. Richmond to downtown on BART Can take 20-30 minutes

Thanks for the advice. I'm probably going to be moving to the city in a few months anyways, so this solution for the commute isn't really a long term thing anyways.

I'm not too worried about the people on the Bart, I just figured it would be much more efficient time wise.

But to answer your question shock, the Richmond bridge runs from San Rafael to Richmond. From where I live it's a little less than 10 minutes.

Actually lol I forgot to consider that he would be taking Bart during commute hours. So nevermind on it being ghetto. However, it can be ghetto, the BART stations that is, after dark. Perhaps certain stations are more than others

just got back from the strip clubs in Sacramento this morning.

On Tuesday I went to the Sunnyvale Strip club
On Wednesday I went to the Warriors game bobble head night
Last night I went to the sacramento strip club and then casino at 4 am in San Pablo, then got home around 9 am this morning and slept in
