i see jose as the type of captain that goes down with the ship.
nevertheless i want him traded if we can land a good young player in return. the thing is i don't trust lowry as pg even after jose is traded.
lowry just doesn't seem to be a team guy. this works when you are kobe but doesn't work when you are lowry.
Champs will be champs...
I actually think Lowry's height is part of the problem. He has trouble making passes off the P&R because he can't lob it over people's heads like Jose. I think Lowry is barely 6'0 maybe 5'11.75. He struggles against larger guards.

Lowry > Jose in almost every way
I also think this is being over blown.
Non of the Raptors beat writers are reporting the Lowry situation.
It seems like a writer for rotoworld is just trying to make a story.
It's very hard to gauge how Lowry's abilities meshes with the rest of the team considering a not so healthy start for him, Val/Bargs/Kleiza are still out and Fields his best bud just came back from injury.
It is still a small sample size if you really think about it.
Plus it is not so perfect time for him playing back into form especially with Calderon performing better than ever and FO showcasing Jose's talents for a possible trade(IMO one of the agenda in that meeting of Casey with the board)
The only concern that I have though is the attitude that he recently demonstrated reminiscent of Houston after getting lesser minutes than the other guy.
I think we should wait before we pass judgement. If BC decides that Lowry is the future PG so be it. But Lowry has to remain open minded.
FOR EVERY TWO POINTS HE SCORE, HE GIVES UP A THREE
We need a Fundamentally Sound Shooting GuardHe better score 30 a night if he plans not to defend or rebound
Fear no more, He is coming soon to an arena near you
