I've never really liked Gut Check. now maybe it's worse. instead of a nobody vs a TNA wrestler, it's a nobody vs a nobody. and this will be a regular thing? future matches could end up being bad. if 2 Gut Check guys who face each other were good enough, they would already be in a higher wrestling promotion. now not only could you have wrestlers that most viewers don't know, the match itself could be bad wrestling. obviously one of these wrestlers will win the match, but that doesn't mean he will be the better wrestler. now you could put the judges in a position where they have to decide if the winner was the better wrestler or the loser, and if they pick the guy who lost the match then the guy who won has a case because he actually won.

I wonder who Hardy picks as his partner. my first thought is James Storm.
..and I thought I would take time to check after writing that out, and it is James Storm.

TNA has announced today it will be dropping eight of its annual pay per views, delivering just four live events per year, starting with this Sunday’s Genesis pay per view.

TNA’s next live pay per view will be in March for Lockdown (moved from April), followed by Slammiversary in June and Bound for Glory in October.

In addition, seven Pay-Per-View specials that will be branded as “TNA Wrestling: One Night Only,” series will debut in April 2013 and continue throughout the year during the additional months. The 3-hour taped Pay-Per-View specials will premiere on the first Friday of each month. The first two “One Night Only” specials will be “Joker’s Wild Tag Team Tournament” and “X-travaganza” which will feature the X-Division.

The company will continue to produce TNA Wrestling’s “Unfinished Business”, which are one-hour programs available on a Video on Demand (VOD) basis.

That's too few PPV's in my opinion. I really feel like TNA should have scaled back to 6.

If Jay Bradley is a member of Aces and 8's, then that, along with Brisco being a part of the group, may explain why Sam Shaw (or whatever his name was) was taken out last summer during his Gut Check promo.
