I am going with Flores because he is likely to reach the majors and be a productive bat, the rest of the hitting prospects all are either far away or have serious question marks about them.

The rest of the pitchers do as well, they can all likely end up busts or pen arms.

Flores because he's closest to major league ready. If Nimmo was the same age, I'd say him because he's more dimensional.

I went with Nimmo over Flores. But it was between those two.

I went with Fulmer because he pitched extremely well as a 19 year old out of HS and could be a front-line arm.

I was considering Flores or Nimmo though too.

I don't think Fulmer can be a front line arm, I think he could be a #3 guy.

If his change develops further, he can definitely be a front-line arm. He's got the FB and curveball.

I would go with Flores even if he is a man without a position it's hard not to love his bat and he is the most major league ready than a lot of the other remaining guys on that list (aside from Familia and McHugh who are already up)

He's gonna get traded but Vegas should raise his trade value when they get to that point.

Even if it develops further I don't think he could be a front line starter, but a mid rotation guy or a #3. He will need that 3rd pitch to be able to stay a starter if not is the pen for him.

Why? His command is good and improving. He's got #2 upside.

It is improving, but as of right now is not great either, that is something that he will need to continue to improve on as well.

The fact that he has an above average fastball and a breaking ball that could be a plus pitch is why imo will allow him to be a #3 guy. As of right now though they are not dominant pitches either and there is not much projection left in him if any.

Then you have the concerns about his delivery and I just do not see top of the rotation guy in him.

...but if he reaches #3 status as a major leaguer I would be very happy.


Guys like Harvey, Syndergaard and Wheeler are top of rotation guys because they have that plus plus fastball, good mechanics as well to go along with a plus secondary pitch.

Fulmer's fastball is 93-95 MPH according to Toby.

They said Jose Fernandez didn't have a lot of projection in him and look how good he is. Fulmer could end up being 6'3" 225 lbs, are you telling me that isn't more projection from his current frame?

According to Sickels's definition of a #2, you need two plus pitches, an average 3rd pitch, average command, and average make-up. Fulmer could end up fitting that bill nicely which is why I think he has #2 upside.

I don't know, Sick. Even in the Mets prospects listing thread, most of the analyses have Fulmer in the top 10 or top 5 Mets prospects, and say he has top of the rotation make up and potential.
