    Hof 2013

Nobody got in. What a joke, how come these idiot writers can't agree on who is worthy of the HOF. I think most if not all of the voters should be players or HOF'ers themselves. How can Mike Piazza not get voted in??? He is the best hitting catcher of all time. And really Barry Bonds didn't get voted in. What a joke. He is the probably the best player of all time and he doesn't get in.

Seems reasonable to me actually. There were a lot of good players to consider this year, and unfortunately nobody has really come to terms with how to perceive the steroid era.

Eventually, we'll get over the past and players like Bonds will move quickly. For now, sentiment is extremely divided among those who care about such things as the HoF.

You expected Bonds would get in?

I was surprised Tim Reigns didn't get the nod finally, no idea why he doesn't. I said it before make a separate wing for the Steroid users

I do think he should be a no brainer for getting in. If you took his best 5 years out, he would have the numbers to get in. He is probably the best player of all time. I dont understand why these pompous writers have the ability to say yeah or nah to players. I do think the voting should have a complete overhaul. Sort of like what has happened to the all-star game. The players, fans, and managers/ex players should be voting. Writers whom never played the game should not be allowed to determine whom is the best. So many of these writers have personal issues with these players over the years and then hold it against them. Or better yet, some of these idiots don't even vote some years.

What really cracks me up is that there are certain players that are in the HOF that don't belong in there. And some that aren't in there.

If you are going to say some of these guys are cheaters because they took steroids, then fine. But i have never seen a bodybuilder hit a homerun. Steroids doesn't make you hit the ball more often. Doesn't improve your BA. And certainly doesn't prevent you from swinging at bad pitches. The only thing steroids may do is give you more power. But if you think that Bonds wasn't going to hit 600+ HR's or Clemons who had 3 cy youngs before 1992, wasn't good enough without roids. You are crazy.

And if you think that uppers back in the day didn't inprove performance then your crazy. Hank Aaron has come out along with Mike Schmidt and say they all took uppers when they played.

Steroids allow your body to recover faster, plain and simple. That means that you can work out more frequently, experience less fatigue from the long season, and recover/rehab from injury more rapidly.
