Love out 8 to 10 weeks with Surgery

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love expected to be out 8-10 weeks after having hand surgery on his right hand next week, a source tells Y! Sports.

Love missed the first three weeks of the season after breaking his hand during the preseason. He didnít need surgery for that injury.

Love surprised many by returning ahead of schedule on Nov. 21, but itís been clear over the last month that the hand was still bothering him. The defending 3-point shootout champion is shooting just 35 percent from the field and 21.7 percent on 3s.

He broke the hand again while jockeying for position under the basket against Denver last week. Heís been unavailable for comment since the injury.

We just can't seem to catch a break this year on the injury front.

Crooner is trying to think of a way we can get Pau Gasol with our pick right now.

Derrick needs to play like a 1st option the rest of the year for the playoffs to be a possibility.

Absolutely not because the lottery hates us.

We have a SPanish player though, a Spanish player would never tank.

lottery hates us, our GM can't draft for his life.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

I agree, no tanking! Fight to the end, we still have some decent players that are capable to play 500 ball for another month, and maybe we get a guy or two back from injury, and possibly pick up a decent player in a trade.
Now why did the Wolves do that?

we have to play so far over our head to be at .500 when Love returns.

    Positive thoughts, think positive thoughts!

    Really though, think about it!

We have Pek, a top 5 Center

We have AK, a really good SF

We have a good combo of PG with Rubio coming back, JJ, and Luke off the bench, is a good trio

We have Shved playing like a ROY candidate.

We have Williams starting to look like he is starting to deserve that 2nd pick

Kahn saying he has the go to make a trade, and add some one that will help the team

Along with a pretty decent altogether defense.

Just because Love is out, isnt the end of the world. Sure, it would be nice to have a healthy team, but Love has been out pretty much all year anyhow, and when he was here, he was more of a burden, liability on the court, then what he helped out with any how.

What I am saying is, we have a chance!
Now why did the Wolves do that?
