Very happy that someone drew the line on cheating in sports with Bonds and Clemens being denied...37%!! Sort of surprised though that Mike Piazza was not elected to the HoF today.

I know that he may be grouped with others in the steroid era, but unless there is innuendo involved in his years with the Mets, I thought we was still considered legitimate by the lord of elders that are HoF voters. Maybe it was the wonky mustache?

He'll get in, I just don't think he was a first balloter. It's not like he was Johnny Bench.

Give it a few years but he should get in by the end of the decade.

I say he gets in by his 3rd year. Maddux, Thomas, Bagwell need to get in first.

It's sad that Piazza didn't get in, he is more than deserving. For his position he is one of the greatest ever.

The voting process for the hall of fame is totally stupid and needs to be revamped. Bagwell and piazza, who have never been found guilty of any steriod use, should not be punished. although, one time I saw piazza guess fast ball- get a curve- and than he just snapped his wrists and the ball cleared the right field wall at dodger stadium. He was a freak. I miss those days.

I have very little doubt that he was a user of PED. He was the 1309th pick of the 1988 draft. Enough said. I've been a huge Dodger fan for over 35 years and there is no way I want to see him in the BB HOF.

Albert Pujols was drafted 402 in 1999, that doesn't mean that Pujols did steroids.

Obviously any player that played in that era will have the steroid cloud hanging over them, but I give Piazza the benefit of the doubt considering that he has never been linked to steroids.

Will Pudge get in? He is also from the steroids era. Now that Pizza didnt make him. he is the next catcher who has a chance to get in.

The cutoff is 402... if you were chosen 403 or lower and had a good career, you were on steroids.
