    Mussina is not hall worthy.

That's the problem. Guys like that.

    Monitor. Yount. Larkin. Biggio.

They all were good, not great.

Nobody gave a flying fk about watching them.

I wonder who that player could be?

    Bagwell:
    .297/.408/.540
    2314 hits
    449 HRs

    NL MVP: 1994
NL Rookie of the Year: 1991
    NL All-Star: 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999
    Gold Glove Award (1B): 1994
    Silver Slugger Awards (1B): 1994, 1997, 1999

5th Best WAR all time for a 1B
    7th Best OPS+ all time for a 1B

Add in the fact that he was a great fielder, and good on the base paths (200 SBs), he was a phenomenal all around player.

He won more games than any player during the time he played by like 60 wins. How do you figure he doesn't get in?

The guy had a 3.90 ERA but was one of the most consistent pitchers. And if you look at his stats, his ERA got bloated to that due to his last 6 years playing. He was 34 when he started his "decline".

Raw numbers included, he deserves to be in the Hall.

    ERA + of 105.
So for this guys career he was 5% better than league average.

Y'all are too caught up in dumb stats.

The EYE test is what matters.

    Bagwell. Juice head.

    Jack Morris. Clutch mofo.

I believe that Jeff Bagwell was never even thought of as great by his peers. Only 4 all star games?

Jack Morris is like Jim Rice. Best of his decade but not overwhelming overall stats.

Compare him and David Wells. Very similar pitchers. If you let in Morris, David Wells then deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
