what the hell is injured reserved? they dont have that in the nba. and guys even if u send a player to the d-league he still counts toward ur 15 man roster. the only way u can free up a roster spot in by cutting a player or via trade.

btw all 15 contracts on the roster are guaranteed.... including sheed and copeland.

I would love for Kmart to come to NY. He brings extra toughness to the team- a value that you can't have too much of, especially at PF. I say cut white or cope, I like everyone else on the team.

I like Kurt as much as the next guy, but cutting him would be a no brainer to make room for Kurt. I like having flight White around. However, i don't like the uncertainty as to how much we can count on Rasheed. It would suck to lose Kurt then find out Sheed can't play.

The last time Kidd and K-Mart were teammates, K-Mart played extremely well.

But that was when K-Mart was 8-9 years young, and when he was able to run up and down the court with ease to receive passes from Kidd.

This is why when the Knicks say a player is day to day it usually means month to month and half which is why im worried about Felton, I dont trust the Knicks when it comes to being honest about injuries

And this really only seems to be an insurance policy for Sheed if hes still going to be out for a while. Kurt really isn't athletic enough (not like he ever really was, but hes painfully slow now). Ideally Sheed will get back and likely take Cope's minutes in the 2nd unit and play alongside Amar'e. However, if Sheed really is still gonna miss a lot more time then Kmart is a better defensive option next to Stat than Kurt is at this point. Or Woody could just play Camby more and there wouldn't be a need for Kmart either.
