So, it wasn't a difficult call to shut down Gabbert for the year, allow him to have shoulder surgery, and get a better start on next season. What were the Jags playing for at the time? Nothing. The more games they lost from that point on the better is was for the team long term.

henne should be the starter. the offense looked way better with henne in it than gabbert. hes forgetting the fact even if Gabbert was deemed okay to play he wasnt going to start. jags wont start tebow. hes not an NFL qb. it would be the PR move the jets made. no thank you. bring him in to be a Camp FB and maybe it be worth it for a conditional 7th.
