I would say that shows the veteran savvy of Garnet. He really got under Melo's skin and really took his head completely out the game. Melo started playing hero ball when he should have been looking for teammates on a night when he couldn't hit anything, yet he kept putting up adrenaline 3's down the stretch and missed them. I have to say, being a Knick fan I wanted those 3's to go in, but that doesn't mean they weren't bad shots. Great game.

I hope though the league reviews and hands out flopping warnings or fines to a couple of Celtics, there were some obvious acting jobs (like the Prigs charge... c'mon).

I am proud that none of the Knicks flop, it is embarrassing to win that way.

I think thats true but only to an extent. Trash talk is one thing, bad sportsmanship is another. Melo said that KG said something that shouldn't be said to another man. Given KGs reputation there's no telling what came out of his mouth. And KG got double T'd and tossed too so even tho they got the W I'm not sure how savvy it could have been.

With that said tho, can't believe Melo waited for him at the bus. What did he think he was going to do? that only hurts his image.

The sad part is the ratings are better than ever and it seems as if Basketball has overtaken Baseball for the #2 sport in America, at least ratings wise. The rugby style 80-76 games the teams like our Knicks used to play was the anti-casual viewer. Stern has changed rules to promote encourage fast paced, high scoring, finesse basketball which is what the casual viewer wants to see.

They want 3 pointers, fast break dunks and alley oops not defensive rotations and rebounds like basketball purists.

Hah. Yeah it seems like they would rather see the Harlem Globetrotters.

Give me a 90's Knicks/Bulls matchup any day.

I'll be more than happy to take a tech for voicing my opinion on what certain people are doing on a consistent basis on this forum. If I get tossed it's unfortunate but I stand by my beliefs.

If mods want to punish posters like myself who actually befriend the real fans here and enjoy participating in this forum, over posters that come in here just to bait others and pretend to be fans of an organization when in reality they are wolves in sheeps clothing, then it is what it is.

I'm actually disappointed that melo did not punch KG while on the court after he talked trash bout melo's wife. As a man melo can't let someone get away with that with no reaction to it. boston will think melo is soft the rest of his life.
