    Can we beat the Rockets?

Don't have Hill, don't have Dwight, don't have Gasol. Still have D'Antoni.

    Yes we can.

KObe needs to go .480 or better in the game and its perfectly winable.

I mean, Nash, Kobe, Artest, Jamison, the last two were 18 ppg players at some time in their careers.

ONly problem is the center position but since Rockets center is not known for his scoring shouldnt be much of a problem.

I see this as an opportunity for the Lakers to test some things out while Dwight and Pau are gone.

For one, I think Jamison would fit in well as our PF in this offense. He can shoot and he slashes. His defense has also been ripped upon far more than it should have been. I admit I'm guilty of this. Defense is more of a team issue of communicating than it is about individual players.

I also think that without Dwight in leaving his man to get blocks every defensive possession will be beneficial to our team defensively. I could be wrong, but I think Dwight's desire to block the **** out of every shot is hurting us. I hope I'm wrong, because otherwise our defensive issues are going to be a lot harder to fix.

And then we become the Los Angeles Suns after Dwight leaves and Pau is traded.

Looks like Sacre and Jamison will be logging in some serious minutes the next week or so...
