Mathews shooting since returning:
Thats 69.7% shooting since returning.
Great game! one thing that is worrisome for me, is the sharp decline of lillards 3. He is shooting 25% as of late. Him stretching teams D's is what is so effective for us. i just hope it picks back up.
Over last 10 games he is over 33% and largely dragged down by a 2/8 game on the road.
1/4 and 1/5 while on the road. Not a sharp decline by any means. Still over 33% over last 10 games, still not a sharp decline. It is by no means worrisome or a trending issue.
I love the tear drop he is adding.... he is so smart
Knows he can get to the lane at will.... but he can't always get to the square... so he has already developed a tear drop like Parker
sky is the limit... and so is the Blazers future with Lillard running the show
We need the big guy back developing soon... and Price needs to cool the jets on shooting when LMA is in the game,,, side note haha
Some good bits.BARRETT'S MUST-READ BLOG: Blazers Improve To 5-0 In Overtime Games || http://bit.ly/TZPRQF
"Portland is now 10-2 in games decided by six points or fewer, and 5-0 in games that require overtime. Oh, and you want get offensive with them? You might want to try something different. The Blazers are 13-1 when they shoot better than 45 percent, and are now 12-2 when they score 100 points or more."
Like others have noted, Batum has been awesome. Having more guys that look to get others involved only improves the offense. The ball movement has been exponentially better as of late, and Batum has stepped up in a big way. I'm also glad that Portland didn't have a letdown after a big road trip. Redick was on-fire, but Portland kept on attacking and found a way to win. It also seemed like the crowd was very loud.
