    It looked ACL to me. Any time he tried to cut his knee would give out.

    Doesn't sound good but if the MRI wasn't decisive then maybe his LCL and ACL aren't completely torn? You would think it would be pretty decisive if it was.

    I was thinking the same thing, two of my teammates in college tore acl's right in front of me, one of them kept playing at it looked just like that.

    Even if its a partial tear it might as well be a complete tear. You still need surgery to fix it especially him being a pro football athlete. A regular joe who doesnt do extensive physical activity can live with a partial tear and no pain. Athletes need surgery in order to perform with no limitations.

    Some partial tears heal on their own without surgery which would be a grade 1 sprain....just saying. Complete tears (which I fear it is, def think it was worse the a grade 1) are worse...

    Very unlikely and even if it heals thw ligament would be weakened.

    That is the case for MCL's most of the time not an ACL.

    Yeah theres not much blood flow to the acl pcl area therefore makes it close to impossible to heal on its own.

    Found an article, it said a "minor" grade 1 can heal on its own but are rare...it also said most acl tears require surgery grade 1-3...pretty states almost all tears need surgery, good ACL knowledge Queens...
