Michael Del Zotto New York Rangers D 22 $1,087,500
    Ryan O’Reilly Colorado Avalanche C 21 $900,000
    P.K. Subban Montreal Canadiens D 23 $875,000

From that list, the guys definitely worth considering are Kulikov, Del Zotto, Subban, Benn.

However i can't see the Bruins nabbing any of those guys since they don't have much room right now.

Between the picks and the players we'd have to shed to get under the cap I wouldn't want either. Guy that sticks out to me is Jamie Benn. He's put up 20+ goals in his 1st (3) seasons and has seen his assist climb year after year.

Dallas is one of those teams who need to get to the cap floor correct? I can't see them letting him go unless its an outrageous offer.

I believe most all of these players are just the result of Owners knowing that the lockout was coming. I would think that most, if not all of them will re-sign with their club. Unless Philly wants to throw out an outrageous offer sheet to Del Zotto or Subban...

I think Benn is pretty much a lock to return to Dallas as I think Subban is with Montreal. Del Zotto I can see being on the move and the B's could sign any of them if the wish, by giving away TT's contract for peanuts.

Per Rotoworld sounds like Subban is trying to leverage some pressure on Montreal by telling reporters he maybe headed elsewhere if a deal can't be made. Hatet he guy when playing against him but would love him if he was on the B's. Big pipe dream but we all have our vices from time to time.

The last reports I read said Subban was close to signing a 3 year $12 million deal just before the lockout. At that term the B's would have to give the Canadian's a 1st + 3rd rounder. However I'd expect the Canadians to match and offer like that. I would expect that to get Subban and not have MTL match you'd have to offer something in the $5.3 to $6 million range and then it'd cost the B's a 1st + 2nd + 3rd rounder.

Would a 3 year deal bring him to unrestricted FA ?

if it did, hopefully Malcolm is here or close to being here and it will influence him to come here....a guy can dream
