    The POSITIVE thread...

Ok, we've all had our say about all the negatives of the 2012 campaign and the 2012/2013 off season lack of progress...now let's talk about the POSITIVES, i know they are few and far between but what are they...what are you looking forward to in the 2013 season?

All of us...even Marty and Coupon...have to be looking forward to SOME aspect of the 2013 season right?

Are you sure we are allowed to do this?

I would run it by one of the mods first.

    The debut of D'Arnaud.

    The debut of Wheeler.

Seeing if Harvey can be consistent.

I'm also curious to see how Kirk N. develops. It looks like there's some controversy about his ceiling?

I'm not sure who else will make their debuts, but I'll be curious to see.

David Wright in the all-star game and Ike Davis in the homerun derby at home?

Yeah I fully agree with this, we had such a small sample size at the end of last season but it looked really good, I'm hoping he become the spark in the rotation.

Davis in the HR Derby would be a sight to see, especially if he comes in healthy from the start, hell he can't do worse than Cano did in 2012's LOL, oh no wait he's a Met which means they would probably count any foul ball he hit as -1 LOL

Wheeler...I'm hoping they aren't rushing him, he's got the stuff but what about his psychological development ie will he be tough enough for the big leagues?

I know the buzzword this year seems to be "ceiling" but Didn't R.A. Dickey prove that a ceiling can be made of glass and broken through?

These are good but after DW's performance following his appearance, I don't ever want to see any Met in the homerun derby.

Since this is THE POSITIVE THREAD . . .

I am positive that the Mets will add at least one quality outfielder to the lineup, one quality starter to the rotation, and one quality reiever to the pen, at a bare minimum. I'm hoping they don't stop there.

Looking forward to Keith's Grill or whatever it's called. My fiancee and I have made a game out of searching the park for it but we can never seem to find it. I guess we're directionally challenged.

I know there are like 3 of them at least. One of them is in the LF corner on the 1st level...or maybe it is on the 2nd level in the RF corner. I just can't seem to remember.

Are you serious? There's *3* of them?

There are 2..one is behind section 132 on field level and one is near section 415, I've never sat in the 400lvl so I'm not sure where that is but the one behind section 132 should be easy to find, cheers and good luck finding it this year, enjoy the complimentary tootsie pop lol

Thought it was me. The next time I make it to Keith's Grill will be the first.

His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."
