2013 Flyers Season Prediction Thread

It's clear that defense is still an issue, but I've got another question for all of you.

Anybody out there content with what we have now on offense, or would some of you say it needs one last tweak?

if schenn puts up 18+ goals in the 48 games, we will be #5th in the east and go to the 2nd round again

if we see the soph slump from Couturier, Schenn, and Read we will sneak into the playoffs at 8


we just don't have the defense to slow down the lightening (yes ... stamkos is going to kick the crap out of everyone himself), pens, bruins and maybe even the NYR if Nash doesn't throw off their chemistry


i also think that Caps and Hurricanes are going to have bounce back years too ...


i'm praying for an in-season trade that brings us Yandle or Enstrom ... our offense is easily top 10 in the league ... the defense is easily in the bottom 5

I think the offense explodes and tops the league. The defense is mediocre, but holds. Bryz plays well. #2 seed.

Win the first round in 5, lose the 2nd round in 6 after the offense sputters, defense collapses, and Bryz plays adequately. Whatever team beats us takes the East thanks to a hot goaltender (Carolina/Ward).

I predict enjoying to watch a season that was almost lost. Anything on top of making the playoffs is gravy. But I think we have as good a chance as anyone in out division. Someone in our division is making the finals this year.

damn, I dont mean to toot my own horn but..

idk I think for this team to win this season, you're gonna have to count on 3 or 4 goals per game. I'd love to think we can rely on Couts, Schenn, Voracek and Simmonds for 18-20+ goals each (in a full season), but I dont think they're there yet. Schenn is really who I watch to judge how this will go, If he's scoring a goal every 4 games, then I think things will be good.

But sadly Vegas also predicted the Eagles would win this years superbowl.

Dont know how legit this is, but with the rumor of flyers interest in Luongo here is something that says there are talks of a 3 way deal with Toronto,Vancouver, and Philly with Luongo heading to Toronto. Again I dont think there is to much here but I figured I pass it along.
