Any word on Del Zotto's contract status or Sauer's health?

I know this is really fast as they've only reached a tentative agreement less than 24 hours ago, but anyone got any news on those two?

I was told by a friend that it looks as if Sauer may never play again. Is this accurate?

No contract can be talked yet since all the paper work is filled out and is official and Sauer most likely wont play this season.

Yup, Sauer is out....DelZotto's contract won't likely be even discussed until the agreement is finalized. IMO we still need another D-man. Someone comfortable with 3rd pair minutes and hopefully with some size. Bickel isn't that guy.

Gilroy may get a shot at the bottom pairing, looks like a battle between Gilroy/Eminger/Bickel and they can all rotate each night.

But this contract should be done once the CBA is settled, prolly 3-4 years 2.75-3.25M per.
