I don't even think Skip believes half the **** he says. I just think he realizes he would have been fired by now if he actually made valid statements instead of going over the top just to piss people off, so he is making his job to be the idiot that makes dumb statements...kind of like how Jim Rome came to fame for the infamous episode with Jim Everette....but at least Jim Rome makes some sense at times now. Skip Bayliss is a train wreck that you can't help but to watch and see what the next dumb thing he says is going to be.

I find myself feeling very stupid everytime i watch the show...but you're rite i just can't help myself i just have to hear what he says next. It's like he's tryin to be a comedian and you just have to take what he says as a joke.

Well Baltimore did beat Denver.. so even if NE destroys baltimore we can still say we lost to a very good team.

I can't make myself root for the Patriots. Even when the Jets beat us back in 2010 and they played NE the next week I couldn't root for NE. It's just something in my blood...

im with ya a hundred here jacque anyone that even considers rooting for brady never experienced all those painful playoff losses over the years, he was the antichrist in my mind for a good half a decade until we got over the hump and i witnessed marlin jackson take that pass away in 06. Thats how much i hated tom brady that was my superbowl haha. Now even to this day i cant help but hate brady, respect him ? of course. Hate the **** outta him and love seeing him fail more then almost anything in sports besides seeing my fav teams succeed. But maybe im a bit lost cuz the same guys i stand beside and cheer for the celts/red sox are the same guys i hate during football season , go figure haha

#Colts interviewed Syracuse Safety Shamarko Thomas and Pittsburgh RB Ray Graham at the East/West Shrine practices today.

I am a 'Cuse fan and can tell you Thomas is fast and can hit! His only downsize is his height, a shade under 5'9"...makes me think they could trade down and grab him if they are truly targeting him? I believe he would be an instant upgrade at SS.

Awesome! Saw that tweet yesterday and forgot to ask if anyone knew anything about him in here since the Te'o story was breaking. Height doesn't bother me as long as he can tackle and has a good vert to compete in coverage...and speed is always a huge positive in the secondary. Bob Sanders was 5'8" and did great when healthy.....just looking at physical stats and speed shows they are very similar at least on the measurables available.

I admit I haven't seen him play, but just checking on what people have to say about him he seems to be a huge upgrade over Tom Z....sounds like pre combine nobody has any clue where/if he will be picked....These are just Syracuse beat writers from SB nation but honestly who else right now is best to evaluate a guy?

Chris Daughtrey: When #SHAMARKO announced he was returning to Syracuse for his senior season, he said that he felt like there were things he hadn't accomplished. Now that's he's knocked the socks off of another season's worth of opponents, he's ready for the big time. Awhile back, someone made a comparison between Thomas and Bob Sanders. I think it's spot on, right down to the dreds. Thomas isn't a ball hawking safety like Ed Reed or Troy Polamalu. He's not going to get you a ton of interceptions. But he's going to physically imprint himself in the minds of opposing receivers through repeated violent blows, just like Sanders. And, like Sanders, he's less likely to get burned because he's playing the man for the big hit rather than playing the ball for the pick. As usual, combine and workout numbers will have a big say exactly when Shamarko is taken. But I think its safe to say that there's a spot for him in the 3rd or 4th round.

Matt McClusky: I would be surprised to hear his name called, but you never know. Thomas is a hard-nosed defender with an ability to deliver some big hits. Still, I'd bank on a free agent offer over a draft pick

Sean Keeley: If Phil Thomas can make it in the NFL, Shamarko certainly can. Shamarko did the smart thing and returned for his senior season and its going to pay off come draft time. I can absolutely see him putting up monster numbers at the combine and suddenly becoming a very trendy 2nd round/3rd round pick. The workout warrior will stand out big-time.

Andrew Pregler: Whatever projections I give right now about Shamarko are completely irrelevant because his entire stock will change after the combine. It's well noted how insane his workouts are and just how immensely gifted he is when it comes to brute physicality. You can't forget all of the hardship he's been through in his life and just the kind of character guy he is. While no one is looking at him now, I think after the combine he lands on guys radars for a day three pickup. The Steelers need some depth at safety and I know they would love a guy of Shamarko's character and mindset to learn under Ryan Clark, another hard hitting UDFA type guy who in his 11th year has evolved into one of the best safeties in the NFL right now.

Consensus: The combine is going to be Shamarko's best friend. Right now he may be low on radars but come draft day he could be as high as a third round guy if things fall the right way for him.

That play was truly embarrassing.
