What teams are ONE PIECE (preferably role players, not superstars) away from a Title?

So, I'm taking a look at the teams in the NBA and besides Miami and New York in the East and OKC / SAS / LAC in the West, there are a few teams that I think are one piece away from being right up there on that list.

What teams do you think are, and what REALISTIC trade do you see happening before the deadline?

Brooklyn Nets | New Jersey Devils | New York Yankees | New York Giants

Warriors. They have all the pieces. A good bench, terrific chemistry, and two star-caliber players. What they need is a legit center. One that's not constantly sidelined by naggy ankle injuries.

    Lakers just need 2 things:

    1 - A bench
    2 - A coach

    Ewing dunk past Mourning

    DANTONI IS:
    -HORRIBLE out of timeouts
    -HORRIBLE D
    -Too many 3's
-PF is pushed to the 3 point line
    -Doesn't play BIGS
    -Dog Houses players
-HORRIBLE management of players and motivation

Go out on your front lawn, take a dump and see how long your neighbors will talk about that little slice of life. That's what Mike D did to this franchise./QUOTE]

I think he's talking about this year. If you're alluding to the age of the players, it does play a factor but its also the reason we have so many

While I somewhat agree with you, they may already have it with Amare working himself back into gameshape, Shumpert still yet to make his return and Felton being out for a few more weeks. When they get fully healthy they are going to be even more of a force.

If I were the bulls I would offer this to the Hornets. Knowing that Gordon doesnt want to be there you can offer a package of draft picks some young talent and some veteran presence around their young guys.

heres the trade i thought would benefit both teams. Just include a first rounder and a 2nd rounder to the deal going to the hornets.

Comparing Lin to Rubio is like comparing Kate Upton to Rosie O' Donnell. They're both on TV, but that's where the comparison ends.

If the Knicks landed Chris Paul and a starting power forward....we'd be set for the next 5 years.

    The Knicks are back!
