All joking aside I think the lines are as follows:

    Nash-Richards-Cally
    Gabby-Stepan-Kreider
    Haglin-Boyle-Rupper
Some combo yet to be determined

As for D lines I agree with what IamRanger put.

    New York Rangers: Down 1-0

    New York Yankees 2013: 27-16

New York Jets: Looking Forward To The Future

    What about Pyatt?

Much more likely to see 3rd line minutes than Rupp I think. Pyatt was playing 12-13 mins a night all year last year. Rupp saw 6 1/2 or so, and only played 60 games.

Last year, the devils beat us because we could not score with our 3rd and 4th lines whereas the Devils would find great production from those same lines.

I don't want torts to once again stack the first 2 lines and "hope for the best" with the remaining lines. Keep Hagelin on the first line, that seemed to work last year. Put Nash on the 2nd line and maybe even throw Cally on the 3rd line.

We are fortunate enough to have some very good defensive forward that we can mix around throughout line up, as well as some good/great defensemen. Defense is not my worry. We need to find consistent scoring from lines 1-3.

    Edit:

Offensive depth is even more paramount in a situation like this year where there will be a condensed schedule. We can't have guys playing major mins 3 nights in a row.

Anybody know what the cap is for this year? I heard a team can buyout 2 contracts, any truth to that?

Gilroy is with the whale and you can buy out two players after this season is completed because the cap will go down.

When making my lineup I completely forgot about Pyatt, he will probably play on the 3rd or 4th line.

I also see Gaborik and Nash split up. Cally will probably play on the top line with Nash and Richards while Gaborik plays on the 2nd with Kreider and Stepan.

Third and fourth lines are weak. Might want to take a look at Arnott, etc.

I wouldn't say weak, Halpern is very good at faceoffs and if you remember the series against the Devils they killed us in them. Also adding Pyatt and Asham added something on the 4th line which we lost when Prust left, plus Pyatt can probably get around 10 goals this year.

We just needed more grit and toughness on those bottom pairings and faceoff ability and we did that with those 3.
