If Chris Bosh was still on the team

Just curious if you guys think we would be any better of a team if chris bosh would have stayed and we had all the same players we have on the team now. obviously we would have too many men at the 4 spot but with our current injury list that wouldn't be a problem.
I really think if we would have never picked andrea we would have been a much better team and put the emphasis on finding an all star 3 or even 2 after carter left and dropped all the other free agent signings we did (o'neil)

    of course it won't

because the thread question was "would we be better if we had Bosh still?"

and then the OP adds in his opinion about Bargnani which has nothing do to with the question. why does every thread have to be about Bargnani? its getting ridiculous

what does drafting Bargnani have to do with whether we be a better team if we had Bosh on this current Raptor's squad? if the thought was that Bosh might've stayed if we had Rudy Gay, well then that is false because Bosh would've left regardless to play with his buddies. I would leave for a chance to play with Lebron and Wade

And if that was the case then the question should've been "if we drafted Rudy Gay, would you think Bosh had stayed?"

and finally if Bosh was still on this team, then we would not have the same current roster. enough with the "what if's" already especially when they are themed over the same thing. its getting repetitive

we wouldnt have ross or davis or val most likely. let alone fields, lowry, lucas, or anderson or pietrus. pretty much everyone except jose, amir and demar have jobs because bosh chose to leave.

obvioiusly we would be a little better if bosh was our starting 4 rather then bargs or ed.

    lowry/calderon
    ross/anderson
    derozan/fields
    bosh/davis
    jonas/johnson

still a pretty average team.. specially if the offence is going through bosh.

he probably believes that Bosh might have been inclined to stay if we had not wasted several years trying to teach Bargnani to play center

you will have to ask him to clarify.

    either way it'll get ugly.

Its like asking what this team would be like if Butch Carter played Tracy McGrady --

I still blame Butch Carter for the state of this franchise -- that one bonehead move in not making McGrady a full-time starter caused the demise of this team as the combo of Carter/McGrady would have been damn near and Carter would have been a lot more happier playing here with his cousin-- the Miami Heat of the mid 2000's

But again water under the bridge, have to move on...
