Were the lines in camp today per Tim Sassoe's twitter.

Have to say I'm pretty excited to see Bolland get a chance to play some offensive minutes here. The shaw at center bit is interesting. Was expecting ot see Shaw - Kruger - Stalberg as a third line but this all may change. Regardless, kruger should be ready to take over the 3C role at this point and I'm expecting a 35 point 48 game season from bolland in some easier minutes with talented wingers.
Im open for Bolland at 2C but I would think Kruger would have to be 3C instead of Shaw. Much better defensively.

Ideally, I'd like a bigger body at the 3C if Bolland is slotting up to 2C. At the very least, someone with a more physical presence than Kruger. However we shuffle Bolland, the hole he leaves can't be filled by a roster player. Just my opinion.

I'm still against Bolland as the 2c. In my opinion...

Kruger at 2c (or Pirri) w/ Bolland at 3c is a better team than Bolland at 2c with Kruger/Shaw/Etc at 3c. The upgrade that Bolland brings to 2c isn't worth the downgrade at 3c where he plays an excellent brand of hockey.

Im really torn in the middle with Bolland as a 2C. For Bolland, its now or never for him in that role and I believe he is fully capable of orienting his game offensively. I dont hate the idea of Kruger possibly playing 3C due to his impressive defensive play last seaon.

I just dont know if Shaw can fill Bollands shoes as a shut down checking line center.

If Bolland does indeed workout as the 2C and they have issues at the 3C, that is an easyfix at the trade deadline imo.

Kuc is reporting that Saad has made the team. Pirri, Stanton, and Hayes have all been sent down. Roster stands at 24 but that is with Montador, who supposedly will be going to LTIR.

I would assume Saad will play and someone else will be the odd man out (Frolik/Mayers).

No reason to call Saad up and not dress him.

Damn I forgot about Frolik. Put him on the 4th line. Scratch Mayers I guess. Probably rotate Mayers/Shaw/Fro and Carbomb as the scratch.

I think Grandpa Mayers will see himself scratched quite a bit this season. It may be his last.

After today's roster moves, I think it shakes out something like this:
    Saad/Toews/Hossa
    Sharp/Bolland/Kane
    Stalberg/Kruger/Bickell
    Carcillo/Shaw/Frolik/Mayers/Bollig

    Keith/Seabrook
    Rozsival/Leddy/Brookbank
    Oduya/Hjalmmerson

    Crawford/Emery

The Hawks will place defenseman Steve Montador on the injured list. The veteran is suffering from symptoms related to a concussion and is not close to skating, according to a source.
Ugh. Was hoping he'd be back.

Did it say if it was LTIR or just IR? Would be nice to not have his cap hit, even if the Blackhawks still have plenty of cap room.
