Who should be our 5th starter?

I stand by the idea that you have to make someone earn it in the spring, because no choice "deserves" the distinction of being named the 5th starter at this time.

That said, Hefner got absolutely shelled every time he faced a halfway decent team. He's the prototypical guy that might give you a solid performance against crap teams, and will be an automatic loss against any 500 or better team.

He will, in all probability, be horribly exposed if you actually ask him to start regularly.
