Even when he had HOF'ers Tomlinson and Gates along with a loaded roster, he could never read the FS or a blitz. It was always dink and dunk. He went through a string of almost 3 years in which he defeated only one top 10 defense.

Rivers isn't great but he is top 10-12 and Sanchez isn't better then some backups in the league lol. Why would SD even consider anything like it? Makes no sense whatsoever.

I swear you just love to post.... 8.8 Yards per attempt against what were pretty good defenses but yes dink and dunk Lol

    07-11

    His Y/A were 8.4/8.7/8.8/7.9

All the dinking and dunking in the world wont get you that sorry.

I know the stats and YAC including the weapons he had, strength of schedule, perfect weather and how he only defeated one top 10 defense in almost 3 years. It's not all about fantasy stats as the guy cannot read a blitz or the FS. Even Chargers fans see it.

Whether Rivers is top 5, top 10, 15, or 32 whatever, he is definitely at the very least a starting-caliber QB in the NFL. Sanchez will never start again and will be out of the league before any other QB can even beat out Rivers, wherever hes playing.

Sanchez does need a fresh start, with a new career.

Anyone suggesting this trade is good is either a Jets fan or someone that never wants to see SD win anything.

You mean Sanchez AND Flipper are not in the top 20? Damn, that's harsh!

You know. Cause we're trading crappy players for good ones.

I heard that Green Bay might trade Rodgers and Clay Matthews to the Bears for Jason Campbell.

The Rivers with a career 64% completion % and career 94.5 QB rating?

The Rivers with 189 touchdowns vs only 93 interceptions?

Why would SD give up Rivers for Sanchez?

The Jets would love to have Phillip Rivers.

Hey can you trade us a potential top 7 QB (who has been that high before) for our piece of **** QB? No really Rex Ryan had a a huge turd named it Mark "Dirty" Sanchez and raised him to be a QB.
Jackie Bradley Junior.... that is all

Even with Rivers recent struggles he is a better QB then Sanchez.
