Let's start a rumor: Sanchez for Rivers

Trade Mark Sanchez for Phillip Rivers and figure out the additives to make the trade possible.

Both QB's need a new start. Rivers has worthwhile qualities, Sanchez returns to the west coast and perhaps rejuvenates.

The Chargers FO would have to suffer collective brain damage to make that trade. Chargers won't trade Rivers unless they can get someone they think is comparable (who has failed elsewhere but is "fixable"). Either that or a bunch of picks, but I think it's screwy to trade a franchise QB for picks without having a decent FA to stand in. I think a plausible trade could be Rivers for Romo. Norv Turner as the Cowboys' OC with Rivers.
