Vikings get desperate with Webb!

I think this is a low and somewhat immature way to state that a quarterback will not play due to an injury. You are in no way, shape or form qualified to comment on the injury status of Christian Ponder, and this is an obvious example of talking crap. I really hate to see when people talk crap, especially during the playoffs. Considering you are not playing, you are not advising, you are not doing anything to help the team win unless you are cheering in the stadium, I find all forms of talking crap to be immature and childish, especially considering you would not like it if the other team started talking crap after a possible Packer playoff elimination.

You could have simply stated that Ponder was not playing, but you had to resort to trash talk that does nothing to further the chances of your team winning. And, if such a thing as karma exists, you are contributing negative amounts of it to your team.

I really wish that all fans of football, especially those without an athletic bone in their body, and especially those watching the game from home and contributing nothing, would act with class and be respectful to the fact that everybody has a favorite team for a whole host of various reasons.

I'm ashamed that statements like this are being made before the game even begins, and, if I wasn't a Packer fan, I would have very much liked to see you eat your words.

How about you watch the game, act with class before, during and afterwards and save your trash talk (if you absolutely must commit it) for such a time as a possible Super Bowl victory.

Well said and I 100 percent agree with you. Anybody with a brain knew that Ponder was actually hurt. The guy was only able to throw 15 yards with no zip on the ball at all. Great idea lets let him play even though he can barely throw 15 yards. The Vikings stuck with Ponder all year long through thick and think so why would they decide "oh lets make an attempt to throw the Packers off" and start Joe Webb, even though he has took about 3 snaps all year. Playing Webb instead of Ponder was not an attempt to change the packers game plan since they didn't prepare for Webb. It was there only option considering Ponder had such a lack of motion in his throwing arm he was barely able to put on a shirt. Classless thread in my opinion and for that I hope after the next game your team gets smoked and watches the rest of the playoffs from their couches in their living room.

Why wouldn't they try his arm? Maybe by throwing passes his arm would loosen up and feel better. Not sure you get that result by putting a shirt on. What, are they not susposed to at least attempt to have him play. A team is supposed to be prepared regardless of the personel the other team puts on the field. It was known for most of the week Ponder was limited in practice and there was a good chance he wouldn't be able to start. The guy was legitimately injured so I'm not sure why the OP quoted injured as if they were bullshitting there way around the Packers gameplan on Ponder instead to play Webb and catch them off guard. If Ponder is 100 percent healthy there is no doubt he plays that game 10 out of 10 times and his execution would have been superior compared to Webbs terrible performance. I'm certainly not saying the Vikings would have beat the Packer because that wouldn't have been the case, but they also wouldn't have been as embarrasing on a nationally televised game that is for damn sure.
