I believe we should trade cano for Upton and prospects , because cano ain't coming back after next year and we need to get younger. Also trade granderson for prospects as well

I just don't see any other options.

Believe it or not, Yankees would have to give up more, with Cano being a free agent next year.

    Soriano > Hairston

    1. Ichiro Suzuki, RF
    2. Derek Jeter, SS
    3. Robinson Cano, 2B
    4. Mark Teixeira, 1B
    5. Curtis Granderson, LF
    6. Kevin Youkilis, 3B
    7. Alfonso Soriano, DH
    8. Francisco Cervelli, C
    9. Brett Gardner, CF

That lineup would make this team a legit threat.

I'd do it. But that's cause I'd personally rather watch Soriano play over Hughes.

I think Theo and Cash are pals and have never been able to deal with each other and probably want to. But I also think neither want to risk losing in their first deal.

Need the flexibility to play the R in OF, not just DH (see Jeter / Arod Surgery, Youk injury history)

Hairston while no Gold Glove is a much better option then Soriano. Rather then deal anything for Soriano, I'd just go with Diaz/Nunez for my Righty bats

Hairston hits LHed pitchers better than Soriano.
