they will LOVE Ichiro out there......he's a ham (not to Swish level)

DIFFERENCE: he'll produce in big spots where the other stiff didn't. The Bleacher Creatures will have a love fest w him! (and vice versa)

I can only hope you are correct. Yes he would be loved big time.

Ichiro is a big enough ham to enjoy RF in NY. This guy is a rock star and with a full season of Ichiro and folks buying tickets in RF just to see him, it'll be a fun year for him and the Bleacher Creatures. Sure, Stanton or maybe Upton would be nice, but for the time being, Ichiro is a GREAT guy for the Bleacher Creatures.

Partially because he (like the rest of this team) were comically bad this past year...he was a .255 hitter before this season. Better, but not great.

Regardless, he was good for us in 07, he was good for us in the '09 ALCS, he was great in 2010 and 2011. His post season numbers are generally awful, or great, but at least we get some good with him.

Swisher was good in the 2010 ALDS......thats it.

if you take out his worst year, you have to take out his best as well to be fair. everyone looks better with their worst exclued, and even if you did .255 is nothing special for what he is suppsoed to be.

he has played in 11 post season series. he has hit below .200 in 5 of them and his 260ish in 2 more. thats not good. and all of his good seris came in loses except one 3 game sweep of the twins. the major difference is swisher is a complimentary guy in the lineup, cano is suppsoed to be the main guy and he hits basically average at best.

I was proving the point that this post season really hurt everyone's numbers and that Cano was more respectable prior to what he is now. Ive never said that Cano is good in the post season. Never. He has done a lot more for us than Swisher has though, which just goes to show what a clown Swisher is in the playoffs.

Because Nick Swisher is the worst Yankees post season in this team's history. Literally.

You're right though, the whole team for the most part is poop.
