I believe Kobe's already past the "demand a trade" phase in his career.

Better chance of him retiring before demanding a trade.

    Same with Nash.

Let me guess Pau's comment made you create this thread. I would break down how this is a attempt to take the light off Pau's play or recent comments, and defame Kobe as a player in some way, but thats pointless. The answer is 0%, he's closer to retirement than trade demanding, and i would be completely shocked if he were to do so.

    stupid thread

Howard will not walk. Think about it. Howard was suppose to come back in January. He came back 3 months before he was suppose to.

He reminds me of LO before the Championship seasons. Remember he was always injured and he looked like robocop out there with all the padding and gear. That's what Howard looks like right now.

Knowing the guys loyalty, I think he's the kind of player that wants to come back to show LA that he's not a bust.

First off, by season's end, the situation we're in now, should have improved a significant amount. Even with all that has gone wrong, it extremely unlikely that the Lakers finish around or below .500. We will be in the playoffs. Howard will be 100% healthy, eventually. Gasol should probably be traded by the deadline and knowing Mitch, we'll probably get a pretty good deal in return. I do not believe the end for the Lakers has come, and all this talk about how the Clippers have taken over and what not, etc.
Nothing to take away from LAC, though. They're among the best of teams this year, there's no denying that, however, before all is said and done, I do strongly believe the Lakers will be there also.
As far as there regular season record goes, no, that didn't work out as well as we all expected.. but once the playoffs begin, every team will have a clean slate and than the game shifts into the halfcourt style which favors us, immensely.
Anyway, point being, Kobe ain't leavin' haha
