Time To Fire D'Antoni

D' Antoni told us all in his initial press conference that if his team wasn't putting up 110, 115 points per game, he wasn't doing something right. Well, it's time for him to admit defeat and resign as head coach or for the Buss family to realize the mistake they made in hiring someone whose style clearly doesn't fit its personal to hit the road. Good riddance D' Antoni. You suck! Anyone else feel the same?

The two things D'Antoni did wrong tonight was to play Artest on Paul to start the third and Morris is like a deer in the headlights when it comes to pick and roll defense.

I thought D'Antoni made good adjustments in the second half and this team played its *** off in the 4th.

We need to get a player that can contribute instead of Pau.

Gasol looks lost, and cannot keep up with the pace of the game. He either needs some more rest, like till after the all-star game, or he needs traded while his value is still existent.

• Metta World Peace played 35 minutes, went 1-6 from the field and 0-4 from 3.
• Jordan Hill played 19 minutes, went 4-6 from the field and scored 13 points.
• Antawn Jamison was the first off the bench, played 3 minutes and never came on for the rest of the game.

Something is not right his rotations, and they're throwing off his players' rhythm which doesn't help their inconsistency at all.

I don't know what would be more humiliating, firing 2 straight coaches or having a mediocre season with one of the so-called best Lakers' rosters.

It is ENTIRELY his fault that Gasol looks lost out there. He should not be anywhere near the 3 point line and should be in the low block the whole game!

As the coach it's his responsibility to put his players in their best position to have success, putting Gasol outside is just one example of him not doing well with the offense.

To much standing around and not enough activity when the Lakers go with Kobe, or try to get Dwight set up. Kobe today made a nice cut when all the attention was on Nash and Dwight and Nash made the pass to him for the easy bucket, that is all it takes for the Lakers to succeed.

Whether it's Kobe/Dwight and hopefully Pau in the future attracting attention, the team should be actively getting themselves into a position to score.

Gasol simply doesn't try out there, he missed countless post up opportunities and direct path to the rim slashes.

If there's someone to be blamed for Gasol's efforts, its the Lakers' Front Office for fault for lettin him play oversees instead of resting his bum knees this summer

The line-up of Nash, Meeks, Kobe, Artest, Howard was by far THE most effective line-up of the night.

Morris really played like **** defensively. I won't say anymore about certain other players.

its obvious that losing has nothing to do with the coaches, offense was never the problem, even with mike brown.

defensively no one is moving and cant even get much needed stops.

i use to be optimistic when we would be in crunch time situations. now i am very pessimistic. when we got the lead down to 2 in the 4th, i still knew we wasnt going to win. we cant get stop this season.
